An interesting book that challenges the definition of a victim, Bad Blood by Linda Fairstein is, whilst not particularly riveting, at least thought-provoking. Fairstein turns on its head the idea that those we view as being helpless and needful can in fact be quite the opposite. It almost has the potential to be a dangerous and controversial book, but it’s a bit too blandly written to be anything other than mildly intriguing.
