Book Review: The Wishing Game

The Wishing Game by Patrick Redmond was one of those truly unnerving books, purely because the ending differed from most stories in its vein. Obviously saying any more would give it away, so I can’t, but it’s definitely worth a read.

It begins with a man telling the story of his life at a boarding school when he was a child; it’s quite slow to start, and I ploughed through a few chapters before I actually started enjoying myself, but it was well worth it for an exciting and rather chilling read.
