Well, it’s written by Plato, so it’s fantastic. I love reading Plato, I find his books relaxing somehow. The Last Days of Socrates documents the time just before Socrates is killed; and there are many interesting themes and discussions within, as can be expected from any Socratic text.
It’s quite a short book and probably a good one for someone who’s recently started out in philosophy, though if you’re looking for a place to begin with Plato I’d recommend the Republic first.
It’s difficult to review something so far above anything I could ever imagine writing, but it’s certainly worth a read if you’re even remotely interested in anything.
