Beneath the Big Blue Sky by Anna McPartlin

Beneath the Big Blue Sky by Anna McPartlin is a searing tragicomic novel that shows the reality of what happens when someone dies.

Following the stories of several of Rabbit Hayes’ nearest and dearest for the year after her death, Beneath the Big Blue Sky looks at the impact we all have on one another, and what happens when a life is suddenly cut short.

It’s a long read, particularly for a book about death: weighing in at over 400 pages, it’s an ambitious project, but it works. I guarantee you will fall in love with at least one of the Hayes clan.
