I’m cheating a bit with this post, because rather than giving you tips, I’m asking for them.
It’s been a while since I updated the list of things that still need to be done around the flat, so I thought I’d grit my teeth and work it out today.
Although I feel like I’ve hardly done anything, there have been a few very productive days, which means I’ve probably done more than I thought I’d achieved.
I’m having a bit of a phase. It’s a phase that might turn out not to be a phase after all, by which I mean it might well end up lasting forever.

I had a very pleasant surprise when I ripped up the flooring in the hallway and living room. It was this manky engineered wood stuff – some of it can look good, I know, I have it in the bedroom, but this was crappy – and I was expecting to just find sheets of plywood underneath, like when I pulled up the carpet in the bedroom.
