Possibly the most irresponsible yet joyful purchase I have ever made is a pair of 18th-century Gujurati columns which I found at The Old Cinema in Chiswick. It’s been a while since I updated the list of things that still need to be done around the flat, so I thought I’d grit my teeth and work it out today.
Although I feel like I’ve hardly done anything, there have been a few very productive days, which means I’ve probably done more than I thought I’d achieved.
I’m having a bit of a phase. It’s a phase that might turn out not to be a phase after all, by which I mean it might well end up lasting forever.
