The latest instalment in a series in which I answer the ongoing question “How do you fit it all in?”, which people ask me when I tell them what I do. Continue reading “How Do You Fit It All In? #7”
I can’t believe 2015 is nearly over. The year has flown past so quickly, probably due at least in part to the fact that I’ve been out of the country so much. There were a couple of periods where I’d fly somewhere, fly home, dump my stuff, pick up the next round of stuff, and leave immediately. There was a point when I flew from Barcelona to Birmingham with a four-hour stopover in my own house.
Inspired by several of the travel bloggers I follow, I thought I’d do a round-up of my salient travel moments this year. Some good, some bad: all ones that I don’t think I’ll forget in a hurry.
I started the week exhausted and ill, but knowing I had an even more exhausting few days coming up. I was slightly dreading going to Malaga, because conferences always mean getting very little sleep, and if I hadn’t already booked the flights and a hotel with a strict cancellation policy, I probably would have backed out.
I’m so happy I didn’t.
This article is a recap of some of the main highlights from the Techno Security and Forensics Investigations Conference (TSFIC) held in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, from the 31st of May until the 3rd of June 2015.
On Monday I left South Carolina.
It was emotional.
I set this blog up today on something of a whim, but I’m hoping it keeps going for a while at least. Mainly because I tend to forget what I’ve done on a day-to-day basis, and having a blog helps with that.
I’m reintroducing a thing I used to do on my old blog, which was the ‘weekly round-up’. I used to try to write it on a Sunday, but inevitably by the time Sunday rolled around I’d just want to chill out and not bother thinking about the week that’d just passed. So it might end up being a Friday/Saturday thing this time.
