The Flat List #2

It’s been a while since I updated the list of things that still need to be done around the flat, so I thought I’d grit my teeth and work it out today.

Although I feel like I’ve hardly done anything, there have been a few very productive days, which means I’ve probably done more than I thought I’d achieved.

The other day a Wonderful Thing happened with my flat. If you’ve been following the Flat Saga, you will know that Wonderful Things are not often forthcoming around here, so when they do happen I get Very Excited.

Now I’m going to stop using Gratuitous Capitals and start happy-screaming.

Flatspiration

I’ve been renovating my flat since I moved in four years ago. It’s not even nearly finished. It’s exhausting and exciting and all sorts of other words I can’t currently think of because my brain’s so focused on waiting for an email from the builder who came over earlier today, made a sucking noise through his teeth and gave me such a long list of things which need to happen that I can only remember about 50% of them.
